*Waterproof sealer
Follow these easy steps to build your custom beer pong table. 1.Take a well ventilated area like a garage and clear it. Find a table to use as a base. This may either be a table that you are already using, such as a kitchen table, or you can get an inexpensive folding table for just this purpose.
2. Cut the plywood to the right measurements for the beer pong table. Technically, there are no official guidelines for the game of beer pong so that the measurements of the table can alter greatly from area to area. The typical size is eight by 4 feet.
3. Adjust the peak of the table. Cut at least three pieces of 2-by-4 or 4-by-4 to the same width of your table. Lay the boards equally across the table. You can stack and nail several pieces of 2-by-4 to get the proper height that's required by the rules of your area. Again, the guidelines vary greatly so the height might be anywhere from 27.5 to forty five inches.
4. Draw border lines on the plywood top. There are typically 3 lines that are needed by most rules : The mid line that divides the table in half, and the foul lines that are a foot from the fringe of each side of the table.
5. Decorate the plywood. You can use paint, bottle caps or anything more you would like to decorate the surface of your table. This is your opportunity to customise your table.
6. Water-resistant the plywood. It's best to cover the surface of the table in a water resistant sealer in order to protect the wood from water damage. This will protect the wood and make sure that your table lasts for longer.
7. Set up the table you're using as a base, place the set of three 2-by-4 boards uniformly across the table and place the plywood on top. This sets up the beer pong table for playing.
